What's happening at St Leonard's in the Fields
Prayer Shawl Ministry

Join us between 10am till 12noon, to celebrate our 15th birthday at St. Leonard’s in the Fields Church Hall (enter by James Street door).
In November 2010 the following article appeared in the 4 City Centre Kirks magazines… written by Rev. Ellen Marquardt, a visiting Pastoral Assistant from America for St. John’s Kirk and St. Leonard’s in the Fields: ‘with the click of knitting needles and the buzz of happy conversation, thirty three women from the four City Centre Parish Grouping congregations laid the foundation for a shared Parish Grouping Shawl Ministry’
Our group continue to knit shawls for people to celebrate happy events and to comfort others. Our main projects are: knitting items for the Neonatal unit at Ninewells hospital, hats etc for the Seafarers in Aberdeen, a variety of items for the our Local Community and most recently Christmas stockings filled with treats to go along with Christmas hampers from Perth Foodbank.
You are welcome to come along and meet the knitters and see what we do – and share some birthday cake!

St Leonard’s in the Fields Annual Soup and Bread lunch
Sunday 30th November, 2025 at 12pm
The lunch will be held in the church hall following morning service on Sunday 30th November. Please come along and enjoy a delicious mug of soup. All donations will be sent to Christian Aid to support their invaluable work.
Dementia-Friendly Singing Group
Monday, 15th December, 2025 at 2pm in the church hall - access from James Street, Perth
We meet on the third Monday each month throughout the year, from 2-4pm and are always delighted to welcome new faces. So why not come along and see for yourself? Come on your own, or bring a friend. Our next meeting is July 21st.
